Barbara Daley's favorite - Gwyneth Paltrow
My favorite look at the moment has to be Gwyneth Paltrow. As featured on the cover of this months Elle magazine. What a fabulous new disconnected bob. Gwynie proves just why she's still a style icon, with this ultra modern haircut and colour. It’s the kind of trend setting look that will have everyone rushing to their hairdressers and asking them to change their tierd old look.
What makes Gwyneth's bob different to the many versions we saw in 2008 is the disconnected layers shaping her face, a normal, boring square box bob has skillfully been transformed into a modern, trendy cut, which frames her face and gives versatility to her look.
The blow dry is a very important part of this look and gives it its stand out from the crowd finish. The hair is blown to maximum full body fullness then turned under creating the thick voluptuous hair some would kill for!
This kind of haircut requires an expertly trained eye and a very steady hand, so don’t try this at home, a well cut bob is a work of art!
