Jen from Gossip Girl the new Rock and Roll Queen
It’s not only the race horses that go into training for the Grand National we’ve been gearing ourselves up for what is now one of our busiest weekends of the year. From early Thursday morning the salon will be full of race goers wanting their own unique hair style. we’ve spent the last few weeks perfecting our latest collections and signature hair ups to try and create some signature creations for the most stylish day of the year.
Ladies Day on Friday starts with Champagne breakfasts so our first clients are in before eight. The prizes are so good this year that everybody wants to win the best dressed award.
How good does Cindy Crawford look everyone is green with envy at her fab figure and ageless looks. And what about all the other super models making a come back Linda Naomi and Claudia looking better than ever, everyone wants to know what is their secret.
Another hot topic in the salon has been Demmi Moore’s bum it’s has been the envy of the staff this week after she was pictured at her former husband Bruce Willis’s wedding and apart from the bride looking like a younger version of Demmi everyone said how good her behind looks considering she must be in her late forties now!
Comebacks aren’t just for models this week Spandau Ballet have got back together which some people liked but nobody is happy about Robbie getting back with Take That, Clients verdict….It’ll never Last.
It’s all been quite rock and roll in the salon this week we did the hair for three magazine photo shoots and styled a band for an album cover. And our favourite look of the week is Taylor Momson who plays Jen in the ITV2 series Gossip Girl she has just had her hair cut into a real eighties rock chic style think Chrisse Hynde from the Pretenders or Joan Jett and you’ll get the style. The magazines all love it and so do we.
|Some songs once you hear them you just can’t get out of your head Poker Face by Lady Ga Ga is one. When it comes on in the salon it just stays with you for the rest of the day. I was just getting over it when Somebody played the New Pussy Cat Dolls single it is the closing song from Slum Dog Millionaire. Its called Jai Ho. If it comes on close your ears and run away or you’ll be singing it all day.
Is Google earth a step to far? Well most clients think it is. Nobody wants their houses or roads featured on the internet and think it’s just an opportunity for burgulars to scout out your home before they come and break in.

Nobody likes any of the contestants on this years The Apprentice most people had made their mind up even before the opening titles had begun. They hated the opening montage of them all saying how fantastic they where please all of you stop it your all fired!!
Don’t you just hate it when somebody makes you a cup of tea and by the time you get it its gone cold, well I got the best present ever this week it’s china mug that has a lid on it. it has the face of Charlie Chaplin and the lid is a little bowler hat! I’m the envy of the staff. No more cold tea! Now whoever invented that They’re Hired!!!
