Susan Boyle great voice but the image needs a bit of work
The new series of Hells Kitchen and Britain’s Got Talent has had everybody talking this week.
Their something scary, but fascinating about Marco Piere White. He looks menacing and not somebody who you would want to cross. As enjoyable as Marco is what has had most people talking this week is Claudia Winkelman’s eyes and her hit and miss outfits. Everyone loved her look on Strictly Come Dancing, but what has she had done, everyone is asking? Has she had work maybe a lift or a peel . But on closer inspection I detect that all she’s done is to change her eye shadow and forgotten her mascara. She’s gone for a pale look rather than the smoky eyes we all preferred. Its been a real talking point and proves something I always say that if you can only have one beauty treatment concentrate on the eyes have your lashes or brows tinted. Don’t underestimate how much your eyes can really influence any look, Having no eye shadow can leave you looking like an alien, as Claudia proves., and finally on Claudia’s dresses they go from gorgeous to ghastly SEVEN!! Would be our mark for her appearance so far.
One person who is in dire need of some work on her eye area is Britains Got Talent singing sensation Susan Boyle. Who knew when she came out for her audition what an amazing singing voice she had. It’s a sad fact that we do judge everyone by appearance and when Susan stepped on to the stage Everyone said they thought she was about to give one of those turkey performances that are probably the best part of these shows, but no she was fantastic. But will she have the same wow factor once the stylists get their hands on her and particularly those eyebrows.
I never realised just how popular dogs are in the salon everyone has been buzzing, cooing and arghing over Barack Obama’s new family pet. A Portugese Water something or other. I’m not a great fan of dogs. But I like the look of this one particularly its cute fringe ‘Bang on Trend’ as they say.
Heard about a new phenomenon this week ‘bromance’ boys who put their friendship to their mates ahead of anything else, what’s new about that everyone said, try asking anyone who’s other half went to Wembley or watched the Champions league game last week were their priorities lie… I think you know the answer already
This weeks must see films is a good example of ‘Bromance’ ‘I Love You Man’ is very funny according to those that have seen it. But the film that has had everyone talking is ‘Let the Right One In’ don’t be put off that it is in Swedish and has sub titles this is one scary scary film, don’t miss it!
Gok Wan is back on TV and Most people usually love his work but when he said this week that you only need twenty four items of clothing in your wardrobe most of the staff nearly died. Where’s the fun in that somebody said and is that per week someone else asked.
Maddonna looked great in her photo shoot in the Sunday magazines, but her daughter Lourdes who was also pictured over the week end looked even better.
Lots of clients were invited to the re-launch of Circo in the Albert Dock, it was supposed to be a freak show, but it was the biggest disappointment of the week – not enough Freaks! Stilt walkers a big snake and David Guest do not count.
