Hollywood sex bomb? - Eva Mendes

I read an article recently about Hollywood actress Eva Mendes in it she was described as a ‘Sex Bomb’. Its one of those phrases you never hear anymore it conjures up images of Marilyn Monroe and Brigit Bardot with their curvy figures, big bouffant hairstyle and full pouting lips and make-up. Being described as a sex bomb might in these Politically correct times be considered a bit wrong, but I don’t, I think it’s a great compliment. Who looks better the curvaceous Scarlett Johanson or the waif like Victoria Beckham Our ever changing sense of what is stylish and how we should look may not be the image that magazines and designers want to promote, but that’s how the majority of us are and more and more the media are getting on to real women and real body shapes. If you want to see what another modern day sex bomb looks like check out the photographs of Kate Moss promoting her new collection for Top Shop

Nobody could believe it when they read that former Tennis star Andre Aggassi once wore a wig and what was even more surprising was he wore it during tournaments. It must have been a good one to withstand all that sweating and running around but the most shocking thing of all was his wig of choice a mullet!

The men’s hair care and cosmetics market is massive, and so is the demand for hair pieces. A wig these days should be considered as just another accessory. Women wear them so why not men. The stigma of wearing a wig isn’t what it used to be. Losing your hair and not being able to do anything about it isn’t inevitable anymore, Just take a look at the back page of most newspapers and you’ll see advertisments featuring sports stars who are promoting hairpieces. The same applies with men having hair extensions why wait for your hair to grow when you can add a bit of length or create a fringe, Of course a bad wig is as obvious as a cheap suit But A good wig well made cut fashionably and coloured to blend with the owners natural hair is perfectly acceptable. Just don’t go for a mullet.

Everyone is loving Stella McCartney for GAP kids but can’t decide if it’s the clothes or the super cute kids in the advertising campaign they like the most.

No private hospitals or to posh to push induced child births for Coleen a trip to the Women’s. Her husband by her side and proud family waiting nervously for the arrival of a beautiful baby boy. So nice that Coleen is as usual still living in the real world.

Snoods, are what your mum or your gran used to wear its a sort of scarf come hat that is the must have winter accessory.

The blurb in the magazines says ‘Only the beautiful people can apply’ seems like its ultimate a-list dating website beautifulpeople.com has a strict no ugly no fat no minger application policy looks like their isn’t going to be many to choose from then.

Was it really twelve months ago that the MTV European music awards where here in the city, where has the time gone.
