She used to be the awkward one who stood in the background whilst her band mates were getting all the publicity but now its Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud turn to be in the spotlight after the Times Beauty magazine singled her out as one of the faces of the 2010. Like a swan she has emerged into a rare beauty her porcelain skin and her fabulous natural red hair give her a unique look, which I have always been a fan of. I think the recognition is way ovedue Nicola has always stood out from the crowd for me and now being recognised as one of the most beautiful women in the world, is a fitting reward. Nicola Roberts would probably fit neatly into the latest fashion buzz word ‘Pretty’ its the fashion word of the moment, and their are two types, there’s edgy pretty and then there’s anti- pretty. Edgy Pretty is most people favourite its dressing well looking attractive and stylish. Delicate floaty floral chiffons are a key look but then give the look a harder edge maybe with bold make-up or a strong haircut, Good examples of edgy pretty are Lily Allen or Florence from Florence and the Machine and of course Nicola
Then their is anti-pretty also described as death head chic white foundation minimal blusher red eye make-up and stark vibrant lipstick this has been a favourite at all the catwalk shows this season it’s a very strong and dramatic and one of those looks that will definitely get you noticed.
How far would some people go to get their make-up right the latest beauty procedure on offer is Eyebrow transplants they cost £3000 so I think I’ll just stick with having my brows tinted for the time being.
A trench coat is the must have for the spring, that and double denim either jeans and a denim jacket or a denim shirt.
Latest love cheat exposed in the papers is of all people Mark Owen from Take That. Nobody would have been surprised if the story had been about Robbie Williams everyone would expect that of him and if it had been Jason or Howard we wouldn’t really have cared much but baby faced Mark a love rat we’re all shocked
The facebook killer has had everyone talking this week. Facebook is the social network everyone uses, and you assume that everyone is being honest when they ask to be your friend and you get into a dialogue, without thinking you automatically assume the person you are having a conversation with is who they say they are. But how wrong we all are. Everyone is deleting their profile details and being a bit more careful about who they accept as friends now. 3d is out of date all ready it seems in Japan they’ve just launched 4d If you’ve experienced 3d watching Avatar or Alice in Wonderland then imagine having all those effects and wind smell and movement. Your literally in the movie.
Who would invite Michael Winner to their home for dinner he’s rude doesn’t care what he says and a bore. And yet people do, and that’s why we all love his TV show Winners Dinners he’s horrible and yet there is a charm to him that makes you think in the end actually he’s right, just wish we had the nerve to say what he says when we don’t enjoy a meal. We all love his show but nobody would like him as a dinner guest.
Everyone was speculating about why the lions on Saint Georges Plateau were all covered with black cloths last week turns out it was a protest about the declining number of lions in the world there were 200,000 in the 60’s now 50 years later there are less than 20,000 the protest was very effective. We missed our lions and it had us all talking
